The Glenbrook Inn is a traditional inn built and run for the last 25 years by the same family. It is a free house supplying a range of ales and wines with guest beers every month. In 2005/2006 it was voted the Best Local Community Pub in South Wales and has won the Barry In Bloom Commercial section for the last 4 years.
The atmosphere and welcome is warm and friendly from both the staff and regulars. There is diasabled access.
This is a great British pub with forward looking plans to create 22 ensuite bedrooms to give a traditional Inn atmosphere.
The outside smoking area has been redeveloped into a really pleasant seating area with heaters and plasma TV.
The outside garden and play area is fully enclosed and secure, very safe for children.
Inside there are 2 large screen TV's and Sky Sports and Setanta Sports is shown.
There is a Quiz every Sunday as well as Karaoke, Live Entertainment and Themed Party Evenings.
The food served is home cooked traditional style all made using locally sourced produce.
A specials board which is changed daily.
The Sunday lunch is fantastic and tremendous value, with real homemade gravy but it is best to book a table.
